I got a noticeable perfomance boost with SLI activated. update your intel-graphics drivers (see 2.1) installing nvidia beta-drivers (fixed it for some) You may need to try both commands and check with the 'Nvidia Optimus GPU State Viewer' which GPU is being used. Go to your steam library -> right click on Just Cause 2 -> choose ‘Properties’ -> ‘Set Launch Settings’ -> Type in: ‘/dxadapter=0’ (without the ‘) or ‘/dxadapter=1’ depending which one activates the nvidia card. Looks like some Optimus Laptops don't switch to the nvidia card instead rendering the game on the intel graphics.
